Assistant Professor of Accounting

The School of Management at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Accounting at the Assistant Professor level to begin in Fall 2013.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Accounting. We are in search of candidates who have demonstrated a high level of achievement or exceptional promise in both research and teaching. The candidate should have a demonstrated interest in, and capacity to do, research publishable in top-tier accounting journals. Our teaching needs lie primarily in the areas of financial and managerial accounting, but we are open to candidates with different areas of specialization. The School of Management at Boston University offers courses in Undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA and PhD programs. The normal teaching load for tenure-track faculty is three sections/courses a year. We offer a competitive compensation package.
