Faculty Positions in Accounting

The Stan Ross Department of Accountancy at Baruch College of the City University of New York invites applications faculty positions in accounting for anticipated openings at all ranks for Fall 2013.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Tenured/Tenure-Track: Applicants for Associate or Full Professor positions should have a completed Ph.D. degree, a record of excellent scholarly research, and demonstrated teaching effectiveness. Applicants for Assistant Professor positions should have a completed Ph.D. prior to appointment date and exhibit strong potential for and commitment to high-quality research and teaching. We are seeking applications in all areas of accounting, including financial and managerial accounting, taxation, auditing (internal and external), and accounting information systems. Positions are open until filled.

Lecturer or Distinguished Lecturer: Applicants should have a record of demonstrated teaching effectiveness. CPA and substantial work experience required; PhD preferred. Rank depends on qualifications. We are seeking applications in all areas of accounting, including financial and managerial accounting, taxation, auditing (internal and external), and accounting information systems.
