Non Tenure-Track Lecturer - Accounting
The Department of Accounting invites applications for a non tenure-track Lecturer position, beginning in the Fall 2012. All teaching areas will be considered, but preference will be given to candidates having a demonstrated capacity (a) to teach upper-level and advanced financial accounting, and (b) to provide flexibility across different areas of accounting.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have at least a master's degree in accounting or a related field, or relevant professional certification. In addition, applicants must have a demonstrated capacity to excel in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a willingness to participate fully in the Department's service activities, including certain administrative responsibilities. Significant experience in teaching or professional practice is strongly preferred. A demonstrated capacity to engage in accounting research is desirable, though not required. Salary is competitive. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Department has a continued commitment to enhance the diversity of its student body, faculty, and curriculum. This position is contingent on final funding approval.
