                    Faculty Position in Accounting



     The Accounting Division of the Sauder School of Business at
     the University of British Columbia invites applications for
     senior faculty at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.
     The preferred starting date is July 2010, but a later date
     can also be arranged. Applications will be considered in
     all areas of specialty. Candidates should be well
     recognized for their research in leading academic journals
     and have a strong teaching record at the doctoral, masters,
     and undergraduate levels and ability to supervise doctoral
     candidates.



     JOB DESCRIPTION:


     Duties include developing and maintaining an active
     research program aimed at making a significant contribution
     to the profession, teaching in the undergraduate, MBA, and
     Ph.D. programs, as well as contributing to other teaching
     and administrative initiatives of the Accounting Division
     and the Sauder School of Business. Candidates will be
     expected to provide leadership that will enhance the
     reputation of the Accounting Division and the School.
     Teaching and service requirements are similar to other
     research-intensive universities.
