                   Faculty Position in Accounting



     The Department of Accounting in the Cox School of Business
     at Southern Methodist University is seeking candidates for
     a tenure track Assistant Professor Position #052805.
     Position to begin Fall 2010. Hiring is contingent on the
     satisfactory completion of a background check.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     Applicants must have:


     (1) A PhD (or equivalent) in accounting or related field
         from an accredited institution or will have completed
         all requirements for a PhD by August 1, 2010.
     (2) A demonstrated interest in pursuing research and
         teaching in the field of financial accounting,
         managerial accounting or tax accounting. The successful
         candidate will be qualified and willing to teach at the
         graduate level. The salary and teaching loads are
         competitive, based on applicant's qualifications and
         experience.
