     The University of Adelaide Business School has a
     stimulating multidisciplinary learning environment that
     fosters the pursuit of leadership and excellence in both
     research and education. The Business School offers a broad
     range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the
     core discipline areas of accounting, business law, finance,
     international business, management and marketing, as well
     as a suite of MBA programs. The Business School also offers
     high quality research programs at the honours, masters and
     PhD level.


     The Business School is looking to appoint a senior academic
     to provide leadership in research and education in the
     Accounting Discipline.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     You should have:


     - Posses a relevant PhD.
     - Evidence of high quality teaching experience in
       accounting (financial accounting and/or management
       accounting/auditing) at undergraduate and postgraduate
       levels.
     - Evidence of high quality research output (publications in
       high quality journals & successful competitive grant
       applications) in accounting (financial accounting and/or
       management accounting/auditing).
     - Demonstrated ability to provide high quality academic
       leadership through the support and mentoring of junior
       academic staff.
     - Willingness to work with senior academics in the School
       to provide research leadership to the Accounting group.
     - Ability to make significant contributions to curriculum
       development and the enhancement of teaching methodologies
       in the area of accounting.
     - Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary
       to carry out the normal duties of the position including
       cross cultural communication.
     - A willingness to become involved in the School's
       international programs.
     - Active engagement with the accounting profession and
       professional bodies.
     - Willingness to assist in other administrative tasks of
       the School.
     - Ability to work harmoniously and constructively with
       members of staff of the School.



     SALARY:


     (Level D) $108,009-$118,992 per annum


     Plus an employer superannuation contribution of 17 percent
     applies.


     This tenurable position is available from January 2010.
