The University of Adelaide Business School has a
stimulating multidisciplinary learning environment that
fosters the pursuit of leadership and excellence in both
research and education. The Business School offers a broad
range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the
core discipline areas of accounting, business law, finance,
international business, management and marketing, as well
as a suite of MBA programs. The Business School also
offers high quality research programs at the honours,
masters and PhD level.
The Business School has a number of positions available for
experienced academics in the Accounting Discipline.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
You should have:
- A PhD or near completion in Accounting.
- Evidence of successful teaching in Accounting at tertiary
level.
- Ability to contribute to the publication output of the
School.
- Written and oral communication skills necessary to carry
out the normal duties of the position.
- Competence to accept primary responsibility for some
courses and administrative tasks of the School.
- Preparedness to form and maintain contacts with the
professional and business communities.
- Ability to work harmoniously and constructively with
members of staff of the Business School.
For appointment as a Senior Lecturer (Level C) in addition
to the above you should have a doctorate in Accounting,
proven ability to publish in reputable international
Accounting journals and competence in managing courses and
administrative tasks of the School.
SALARY:
(Level B) $73,228-$86,960 per annum
(Level C) $89,700-$103,436 per annum
Plus an employer superannuation contribution of 17 percent
applies.
