                  Faculty Position in Accounting



     The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of
     California, Irvine seeks to fill one position as a
     tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting to begin
     July 1, 2010. We will consider candidates in all areas,
     although preference may be given to those who can teach
     managerial accounting over those teaching financial
     accounting.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     Required qualifications include a demonstrated interest in
     and capacity to do research publishable in top-tier
     accounting journals, a high level of teaching competence,
     and an earned doctorate (entry-level candidates can be near
     completion). We offer a competitive compensation package.
