     Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin, School of Business and
     Economics invites applications for an Assistant Professor
     Position in Accounting ("W1" level according to the German
     system), starting Oct 1, 2010.



     JOB DESCRIPTION:


     Candidates must demonstrate an interest in and ability to
     conduct high quality accounting research and to teach
     successfully in the accounting program of the School of
     Business and Economics. All accounting research areas will
     be considered. Teaching responsibilities include courses in
     Financial Accounting and/or related areas at the
     undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.



     ABOUT THE HUMBOLDT-UNIVERSITAT ZU BERLIN:


     Located ideally in the heart of Berlin, the School of
     Business and Economics is a research-oriented institution
     which offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs
     in the area of business, economics, statistics and business
     information science. It hosts the collaborative research
     center 649 "Economic Risk" which is funded by the Deutsche
     Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation). Close
     ties to other research institutions in the area of Berlin
     provide for an excellent research environment.
