Assistant Professor in Accounting
The Lally School of Management and Technology at Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for
a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in
Accounting to begin August 2010.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in a
field of accounting. All degree requirements must be
complete at the commencement of the appointment. Applicants
must exhibit, through their accomplishments, promise of
future distinction in scholarship and education. We will
consider all teaching interests, with preference for
financial accounting and reporting or managerial
accounting. Salary and benefits are extremely competitive.
EXPECTATIONS:
The successful applicant will be expected to publish
scholarly research in high quality academic journals,
demonstrate superior teaching at the undergraduate and
graduate levels, and actively advise doctoral students.
Salary and fringe benefits are competitive. This position
is subject to budget approval.
