        Assistant/Associate Professor in Management Control



     ESSEC Business School invites applications for one tenure-
     track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate level
     in Management Control for September 2010.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     Candidates should hold a PhD degree (or be very close to
     completion), have a strong interest in research and a good
     teaching ability. A good command of French would be an
     asset, but is not mandatory. Faculty in the area of
     Management Control use a variety of empirical methods in
     diverse research areas: role of management systems in
     organizational change and learning, conditions under which
     they are designed and used, their impact on practices,
     transformations of the controlling function and the
     controllers profile, role of control in collective
     sensemaking.


     Multi-disciplinary perspectives with interests in
     organization theory, strategic management or organizational
     behavior are welcome. A good knowledge of management
     control is required.
