Clinical Faculty
The Department of Accountancy at Miami University has
openings for Clinical faculty with the primary
responsibility of teaching and coordinating the
introductory financial accounting course. Quality teaching
and service to the profession and university are required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Applicants must have an accounting related
master's degree and university level teaching experience.
Preferred: A doctorate, professional certification (CPA,
CMA, CIA) and relevant professional work experience are
desirable.

Miami University is a comprehensive, state-assisted

and 1,800 graduate students at the main campus in Oxford,

ABOUT THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS:
The Farmer School of Business offers a bachelor's degree,
an MBA degree and master's degrees in accounting and
economics. The undergraduate and MACC programs are AACSB
accredited. The Farmer School is located in a new state-of-
the-art facility.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The Department of Accountancy, with approximately 240
graduates per year, is continually ranked as one of the top
undergraduate accounting programs in the United States.
There are 16 tenure-track and 8 non-tenure-track faculty
members on the Oxford campus. Miami is a target recruiting
school for all of the large accounting firms and a number
of major corporations.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY:
Oxford, Ohio, with a population of about 21,000 (excluding
students) is a classic college town located 35 miles
northwest of Cincinnati. It is a one-hour drive to either
the Cincinnati or Dayton airport and about a half-hour to
major shopping malls.
