The Australian National University is one of the world's

In celebration of this achievement, along with the newly
established Research Business School, the ANU College of
Business & Economics, School of Accounting & Business
Information Systems, is seeking to make several senior
appointments in accounting, to maintain and develop its
reputation for excellence in research and high quality
teaching. The School includes specialists in Auditing,
Financial and Managerial Accounting and Business
Information Systems.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Applications are invited from women and men who have a
strong record in scholarly research and teaching in
accounting. The successful applicants will be expected to
contribute to the leadership of academics within the
College and the School. They will also play a key role in
maintaining and developing the School's performance in
research and teaching, and participate in administrative
activities in the School and the wider University
community.
Applicants should have a relevant PhD, have attained
recognition at an international level in their research and
have appropriate teaching experience and expertise.
The position will be available from January 2010, or other
such date that is mutually agreed.
A market-based salary loading may be payable subject to
University policy.
