                  Faculty Position in Accounting



     The University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business
     Administration and Department of Accounting invite
     applications for a tenure-track position as an assistant
     professor in accounting beginning August, 2010.
     Responsibilities include teaching in undergraduate and
     masters of accounting programs and research in accounting.
     Service expectations prior to tenure are average.
     Applicants must be interested in teaching Tax or
     Cost/Managerial.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in accounting (ABDs
     will be considered) or a graduate degree in taxation (or
     combination of graduate degrees in law and accounting), a
     commitment to and evidence of quality teaching of
     accounting courses, and evidence of interest in and ability
     to conduct high quality research. Additional preferred
     qualifications are experience working with accounting
     professionals, recent refereed publications in accounting
     or closely related areas, and a professional certification
     (e.g., CPA, CMA, or CIA). Salary is competitive and
     commensurate with experience.

     The University of Nebraska at Omaha is located in the heart
     of Omaha, NE, a metropolitan area with an MSA population of
     around 850,000. The university and department have a strong
