Department of Accounting and Management Control

                    Assistant/Associate Professor
of Financial Accounting/Managerial Accounting & Control

The Department of Accounting and Management Control of HEC
Paris (France) invites applications for Tenure-track
faculty positions to begin September, 2010.

     JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:

The position's openings are either in Financial Accounting
or in Management Accounting & Control. They are targeted at
the Assistant Professor level, but experienced candidates
at the Associate Professor level are also encouraged to
     apply.

A strong track in both research and teaching is required.
Proficiency in French is not demanded, since research is
conducted in English and teaching can be completed entirely
in English. Some command of French is a plus.

Applicants must have a proven or a strong potential in top
quality research to be published in leading international
journals. Support for research is excellent, including
grants from HEC. During their first three years at HEC,
assistant professors benefit from a reduced number of
teaching hours, simplified access to research funds and an
     exemption of administrative duties.

The remuneration and benefits package is competitive by
international standards and will be commensurate with
     experience and profile.
