      Roger Williams University invites applications for the
      position of the Dean of the Gabelli School of Business.


      ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY:

      Roger Williams University serves approximately 5,000
      students at its campus in Bristol, Rhode Island, offering
      36 undergraduate majors as well as graduate programs in
      arts and sciences, education, architecture and law. U.S.
      News and World Report has ranked the University among the
      top ten comprehensive liberal arts universities in the

      ABOUT THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS:

      The Gabelli School of Business, with 723 full-time
      students, and 30 full-time faculty, is accredited by the
      Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business
      International. The School offers a Bachelor of Science
      (B.S.) in eight areas: Accounting, Computer Information
      Systems, Economics, Finance, International Business,
      Management, Marketing, and Security Assurance Studies, as
      well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics. Mount Hope
      Bay offers a dramatic setting for the school's signature
      building, which includes state of the art equipment, the
      Robert F. Stoico/First Fed Trading Room, and the Center for
      Advanced Financial Education.


      JOB DESCRIPTION:

      The Dean will be an entrepreneurial leader who creates and
      implements new initiatives including the strategic
      imperatives associated with the Gabelli School's AACSB
      accreditation. The Dean will be able to generate and
      maintain partnerships with a variety of external
      communities and have the ability to actively participate in
      fund-raising efforts. In addition, he/she has experience
      in working with students and is committed to diversity in
      all aspects of curricular and co-curricular programs. The
      Dean must share the interdisciplinary vision of the Gabelli
      School faculty members, as well as their commitment to
      global learning outcomes.


      JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

      Preference will be given to those candidates holding a
      Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited institution in one of the
      disciplines taught in the school and have experience with
      the AACSB accreditation processes. Furthermore, the
      preferred candidate will have experience as an academic
      administrator and who has documented success as a scholar
