     JOB DESCRIPTION:

     At The Brattle Group, Associates work in teams on
     challenging and high-profile projects in an unusually
     collegial and academically-oriented work environment.
     Associates are the central members of each project team. As
     an Associate you will apply accounting, finance and
     economic theory and practice to litigation, corporate
     strategy, regulation, and public policy issues. The Finance
     Practice projects involve firm, security and asset
     valuation, derivative based products and the accounting
     herefore, accounting disclosure, analysis of financial
     risk, cost of capital and other finance related issues.
     The projects are challenging and are often high profile.

     Associates are given the opportunity to acquire
     responsibility for framing research approaches, project
     management, supervising team/staff, and handling client
     contacts. As they gain valuable hands-on project
     experience, they also become more involved in sales and
     marketing efforts. The Brattle Group commits to each
     Associate's continuous training and development of the
     skills required to advance to the Principal level and
     expanding the company's practices. Our goal is to train and
     develop as many Associates into revenue generating
     Principals as possible.


     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

     Ideal Associate candidates will possess:

     - An advanced degree (PhD, Masters or MBA) in Finance,
       Economics, Accounting, or related field with a strong
       foundation of financial economics, accounting and/or
       several years of relevant work experience preferably in a
       consulting environment. We specifically welcome
       candidates with a strong foundation in financial
       accounting, auditing, or forensic accounting.
     - Demonstrated record of outstanding academic and/or
       practical accomplishment.
     - Strong interest in applied finance and/or accounting
     - Intellectual curiosity.
     - Strong analytic and quantitative skills.
     - Practical problem solving abilities.
     - Proficiency working with programs such as SAS, STATA and
       Excel.
     - An entrepreneurial drive.
     - Desire to work in a collaborative teaming environment.
