                     Tenure-track Faculty Position


     Michigan State University invites applications for one
     tenure-track faculty position in the Department of
     Accounting & Information Systems in The Eli Broad College
     of Business beginning August 2008, at the rank of assistant
     professor. Teaching and research interests should be in
     the area of financial reporting or auditing.


     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

     A qualified candidate must have a PhD or be in the final
     stages of their dissertation and demonstrate interest in
     and capacity to conduct quality scholarly research as well
     as capacity for high level teaching competence. Candidates
     with a prior record of successful research and teaching
     especially are encouraged to apply.


     JOB DESCRIPTION:

     All successful candidates are expected to pursue an active
     research program, perform undergraduate and graduate
     teaching, and supervise graduate students. The applicant
     is expected to collaborate with colleagues in teaching,
     research, and service activities.
