Call for Papers
2014 UTS Emerging Accounting Researcher Consortium

3-4 February 2014, University of Technology Sydney

Applications are invited for submission of papers to the 2-day Emerging Accounting Researcher Consortium. The 2014 Consortium will be conducted by Professor David Burgstahler from the Foster School of Business, University of Washington. There will be a special session on both days of the Consortium to allow selected emerging researchers and PhD students to present their work-in-progress. Those interested in presenting their work are encouraged to make submissions as soon as possible, but no later than Thursday 31 October 2013. Authors of selected early stage papers will be advised no later than Friday 22 November 2013. Submissions are invited in any area of accounting.

UTS will provide financial support for presenters of selected papers. This support will typically cover a return economy airfare from their home city to Sydney, Australia and three nights' accommodation. Those attending the Emerging Accounting Researcher Consortium may also like to consider attending the UTS Australian Summer Accounting Conference which is being held on 6-7 February 2014.

UTS Business School is located at the southern fringe of Sydney's central business district, adjacent to the Darling Harbour tourist precinct. It is close to a wide variety of hotel and apartment accommodation, as well as excellent public transport access to beaches and other tourist attractions.
