Call for Papers
48th Annual (2013) Journal of Accounting Research Conference - Current Topics in Accounting Research

May 17-18, 2013, Frankfurt, Germany

In a one-off departure from the longstanding tradition of holding the conference in Chicago, the 2013 Journal of Accounting Research conference will be held at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany on May 17-18, 2013. Funding for the conference is generously provided by the KPMG Foundation, in conjunction with the Accounting Research Center at Chicago Booth.

THEME: To encourage submissions across a broad set of research areas, the theme of the 2013 conference is "Current Topics in Accounting Research." We invite the submission of theoretical, empirical, and clinical studies that advance our understanding of any area of accounting research.

As is traditionally the case with the Journal of Accounting Research conference, papers selected for inclusion in the conference are published in the annual conference issue in the spring of the year following the conference, along with discussant comments (the inclusion of conference papers in the conference issue is, as always, subject to satisfactory resolution of the editorial review process).

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Papers should be submitted electronically through the links provided on the Journal of Accounting Research Web site at http://www.chicagobooth.edu/jar. The submission fee is $400.00. The deadline for submission of papers is January 3, 2013.
