PAPER SUBMISSIONS: The Conference welcomes manuscripts from all areas of accounting research and all research methods. Submissions will be accepted between December 10, 2012 and January 31, 2013. Six papers and six discussants will be selected and notified no later than March 15, 2013. ABOUT THE CONFERENCE: The conference venue is Aspen's only five-star hotel, The Little Nell, which sits at the base of the Aspen Mountain Gondola. Conference participants will ride the Gondola for dinner at the summit of Aspen Mountain (elevation 11,212 feet) in one of the world's most exclusive venues, the Aspen Mountain Club. All conference participants will be offered a professionally-guided hike in the breathtaking mountain wilderness areas that surround Aspen. Conference participants may also select from other outdoor activities including tandem-guided paragliding, Class III and Class IV white-water river rafting, guided fly-fishing, mountain biking, rock-climbing/rappelling, and hot-air balloon rides. The conference will close at Belly Up, Aspen's world famous live music venue, with a private acoustic performance.
