Tenth Global Management Accounting Research Symposium (GMARS)
GMARS aims to promote a "global village" of management accounting research by bringing together a diverse set of the highest-quality research papers, plenary speakers, and researchers from around the world. It provides a broader appreciation and understanding of the many theoretical perspectives and research methods that are used to study management accounting. GMARS rotates annually around the world: Copenhagen Business School, Michigan State University, and University of New South Wales. GMARS 2013 will be June 27-28 at Michigan State University.
SPEAKERS: The plenary speakers will be:
Eva Labro, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Norio Sawabe, Kyoto University
Wim Van der Stede, London School of Economics and Political Science
In addition to these plenary presentations, GMARS will feature 20 papers presented in ten concurrent sessions, each with a discussant.
TOPICS: Submission of papers addressing any management accounting topic using any theoretical perspective and research method are welcome. The submission deadline is January 31, 2013. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the program committee, and we expect to announce the program by March 15, 2013.
