The 22nd Audit & Assurance Conference, organised by the Auditing Special Interest Group (ASIG) of the British Accounting & Finance Association (BAFA), will be held at the London Savoy Place, London, UK on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 May 2012.
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: There are few days left for submitting your paper for consideration (deadline 3rd February). Please email your submission in WORD to the Chairman of the Auditing Group, ilias G Basioudis at: i.g.basioudis@aston.ac.uk
CONFERENCE DETAILS: ASIG to hold a conference addressing critical auditing issues arising from the recent discussions and developments by various regulatory bodies. The Auditing Special Interest Group of the British Accounting & Finance Association is pleased to announce an important conference offering a unique mix of distinguished expert speakers and highlights of the latest unpublished academic research on auditing and assurance.
The conference has a practitioner focus in day 1 and a more academic orientation in day 2. In the forthcoming conference, the organising committee is pleased to announce the participation of an excellent line-up of speakers.
SPEAKERS: At this stage, the distinguished and influential speakers to present in the conference include:

FEES: The cost to delegates for attending the conference is 250.00 UK Sterling Pound. If required, accommodation at reasonable rates is available from the Strand Palace Hotel, in walking distance from the conference venue.
