CALL FOR PAPERS


      CONFERENCE ON FINANCIAL REPORTING, AUDITING AND GOVERNANCE

     Lehigh University's Accounting Department invites
     submission of manuscripts for the 2010 Inaugural Conference
     on Financial Reporting, Auditing and Governance. The
     conference is held in celebration of the 100th Anniversary
     of the College of Business and Economics.



     OVERVIEW:


     We are pleased to invite submissions of unpublished
     manuscripts in the areas of financial reporting, auditing,
     and corporate governance. Papers at the intersections of
     these fields are especially encouraged, as are papers on
     current topics such as fair value accounting, the financial
     crisis and the role of auditors, and IFRS.



     FEATURED PRESENTERS:


     Featured conference speakers include:


     - Professor Dan Simunic, the CGA Chair in Accounting at the
       University of British Columbia
     - Professor Shyam Sunder, James L. Frank Professor of
       Accounting, Economics and Finance at Yale University
     - Professor Arnold Wright, Joseph M. Golemme Chair at
       Northeastern University



     BEST PAPER AWARD:


     A Best Research Paper award of $3,000 will be presented at
     the conference.



     PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:


     The deadline for submission is January 18, 2010. Please

     A double blind review process will be used in selecting
     research papers to be presented at the conference.
     Acceptance decisions will be announced no later than March
     18, 2010.


     To complete a submission, please send two separate files:


     (1) A title page with authors' contact information
     (2) The manuscript file, with all identifying information
         removed and the file properties set to "Anonymous".
