CALL FOR PAPERS
13TH UTS AUSTRALIAN SUMMER ACCOUNTING SYMPOSIUM
4-5 February 2010
The 13th annual Australian Summer Accounting Symposium will
be held at the University of Technology, Sydney on 4-5
February 2010. As in earlier years, the 2010 Summer
Accounting Symposium will comprise of a key-note address
and approximately 8 paper presentations. The key note speaker
for 2010 is Professor Katherine Schipper, Duke University.
The Symposium is typically well supported by leading accounting
researchers from around the Australasian region, and presenters
come from around the world.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS SCHOOL:
UTS Business School is located at the southern fringe of
Sydney's central business district, adjacent to the Darling
Harbour tourist precinct. It is close to a wide variety of
hotel and apartment accommodation, as well as excellent
public transport access to beaches and other tourist
attractions.
PAPER SUBMISSIONS/FURTHER INFORMATION:
Those interested in presenting a paper are encouraged to
submit their work as soon as possible, but no later than 14
November 2009. Authors of selected papers will be advised
no later than 30 November 2009. Papers are invited in any
area of accounting.
The UTS School of Accounting will provide financial support
for presenters of selected papers. This support will
typically cover lowest applicable airfare and two nights'
accommodation.
