CALL FOR PAPERS
The Faculty of Business at Queensland University of
Technology (Australia) is pleased to announce the
16th ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON PACIFIC BASIN FINANCE,
ECONOMICS, ACCOUNTING AND MANAGEMENT
"INNOVATION FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE: VISIONS FOR 2020"

The Organising Committee invites the submission of papers
to be presented at the PBFEAM 2008 Conference. Papers
dealing with topics related to the disciplines of Finance,
Economics, Accounting, Management, and Marketing are
welcome.

PAPER SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 31 MARCH 2008
Acceptance of contributed papers will be based on blind
referee reports of complete papers. Submissions are invited
via the conference website with the final deadline for
submission on Monday 31 March 2008. Paper acceptance
notification will be forwarded from 14 April 2008.
PROGRAM:
The program will commence with the Doctoral Colloquium on
Wednesday 2 July, together with the Conference Registration
and Welcome Reception that same evening. Keynote
presentations, plenary sessions and delivery of academic
papers will take place on Thursday 3 July and Friday 4
July. The Conference Dinner will be on the Thursday
evening.
REGISTRATION:
Early Bird Registrations close on 30 April 2008, however
registrations will be accepted until 30 May 2008. The early
bird registration fee is AUD$395 and includes the
Registration and Welcoming Reception on Wednesday night,
morning/afternoon teas and lunches and complimentary pass
to the 1-day Doctoral Colloquium on 2 July 2008.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Please book your hotel accommodation early to avoid
disappointment as our premier football event, "The State
of Origin", (our equivalent of the "Super Bowl") is on
the evening of Wednesday 2 July and accommodation places
will fill fast.
