GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON BUSINESS AND FINANCE (GCBF)
January 6 - 9, 2009
Atlantic City, New Jersey
You are invited to participate in The 2009 Global
Conference on Business and Finance (GCBF) - Atlantic City,
New Jersey. The Conference, sponsored by The Institute for
Business and Finance Research (IBFR), will be held from
January 6-9, 2009 at Trump Plaza Resort and Casino,
Atlantic City.

Theoretical, empirical and applied papers in all areas of
business, finance, marketing, management, accounting, MIS,
public administration, economics, tourism, business
education and related fields are welcome. Papers do not
need to be global in nature. Both English and Spanish
language sessions will be offered. An internet session will
be offered for those unable to make the trip to Atlantic
City.
PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES:
The Conference is affiliated with four peer-reviewed
journals: The International Journal of Business and Finance
Research (IJBFR), International Journal of Management and
Marketing Research (IJMMR), Global Journal of Business
Research (GJBR) and Revista Internacional Administracion &
Finanzas (RIAF). All our journals are included in
EBSCOHost. Our English Journals are listed in the 11th
edition of Cabell's directory and Ulrich's Periodical
Directory. The IJBFR and GJBR are also indexed in The
American Economic Association's Econlit, e-JEL and JEL on
CD. Spanish language papers are published in Revista RIAF.
Papers awarded the Outstanding Research Award at the
conference will be offered publication in one of our
Journals.
REFEREED CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS:
Registered conference attendees can publish without charge
in the conference proceedings, published under the Title
"Global Conference on Business and Finance Proceedings,"
ISSN 1931-0285, CD and online formats.
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
Submit a 200-word abstract or completed paper by e-mail to:

prior to November 7, 2008. All submissions must be in MS
Word or Acrobat PDF format. Include the contact information
for all authors.
CONFERENCE FEES:
Regular conference registration is US$320 for the first
paper and US$80 for each additional paper. Student
registration fee is $295 for the first paper and US$80 for
each additional paper. The registration fee for individuals
not presenting a paper is $320. A US$50 late fee applies
for registration fees paid after the deadline.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS:
We have arranged for a small block of rooms at Trump Plaza
Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City at the special rates of $65
for single or double, $75 for triple, and $85 for
quadruple. Taxes and fees apply. This group rate is
available until December 7, 2008 and is subject to

CONFERENCE CANCELLATIONS:
The Institute reserves the right to cancel the conference
in the event of a natural disaster, terrorist event illness
or other unusual circumstances as determined solely at the
discretion of The Institute for Business and Finance
Research, LLC. In such instances, the Institute will be
responsible only for returning the attendee's conference
registration fee.
