               EIGHTH ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE CONFERENCE
              CAPITAL MARKETS BASED ACCOUNTING RESEARCH

     This is the 8th annual academic conference on accounting
     and finance co-organized by the Center for Accounting
     Studies the Institute for Financial and Accounting Studies,
     and the Department of Accounting at Xiamen University
     (XMU). XMU is one of China's key universities designated
     for full state support.


     Located in the Special Economic Zone on the coast of the
     Taiwan Straits, Xiamen is known as the international garden
     city on the sea, with mild weather, clean air, beautiful
     beaches, and a unique marriage of traditional Chinese,
     European colonial and modern architectures.

     The paper submission deadline is April 15, 2008. Papers
     will be reviewed anonymously by members of the Program
     Committee; the submitting authors will be notified of the
     reviewing decision by May 15, 2008. Please submit the paper
