         THEME: CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND FINANCIAL REPORTING

          Place: Irvine Marriott - Irvine, Orange County, CA


     GUIDELINES FOR PAPER SUBMISSION:

     The Center for Corporate Reporting & Governance (CCRG) is
     seeking papers for its upcoming conference. Papers are
     invited in the areas of accounting, finance, and economics
     (including, but not limited to, the topics of Auditing,
     Financial Accounting & Reporting, International Accounting,
     Corporate Governance, and Ethics).

     Each paper submission should include a title page listing
     the corresponding author's name and email address. All
     papers emailed must be emailed to:

     in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.

     Submissions should be received by Tuesday, July 1, 2008.
     All manuscripts are subject to a blind review process.
     Email notification of the outcome of each submission will
     be sent to the corresponding author or authors by Friday
     August 1, 2008.

     CONFERENCE VENUE:

     The conference will be held at the Irvine Marriott, in
     Irvine, California about 5 minutes from the Orange County
     Airport (SNA). It is also accessible via flights to Los
     Angeles (LAX), Long Beach (LGB), and Ontario (ONT)
     airports. Nearby attractions include theme parks such as
     Disneyland, Universal Studios, Sea World, and the San Diego

     CONFERENCE FEE:

     Academic - $225
     Professional - $450
     Conference fee is waived for students.

     Fee includes reception on Thursday, September 18;
     continental breakfast and lunch on Friday, September 19.


     ABOUT THE CENTER FOR CORPORATE REPORTING & GOVERNANCE:

     The Center for Corporate Reporting & Governance (CCRG) at
     California State University, Fullerton was created in the
     wake of Enron and other high profile corporate scandals and
     the subsequent passage of the landmark Sarbanes-Oxley Act
     to address the issues facing businesses and auditors in
     today's changing financial environment. The CCRG's most
     recent conference, held September 21, 2007, drew over 350
     participants and featured a wide variety of speakers,
     including SEC, FASB, and PCAOB officials, corporate
     executives, board and audit committee members, and other
     financial accounting experts.


     CPE INFORMATION:

     CPE credit will be granted.
