Announcing New Anthropology & Archaeology Research Network
We are pleased to announce the creation of Anthropology & Archaeology Research Network (AARN). It will provide a worldwide, online community for research in all areas of anthropology and archaeology, following the model of other subject matter networks within SSRN.
We expect AARN to become a comprehensive online resource for research in anthropology and archaeology, providing scholars with access to current work in their field and facilitating research and scholarship.
AARN's founding director is:
Louise Lamphere, Distinguished Professor of Anthropology Emerita, University of New Mexico and Past President of the American Anthropological AssociationAARN is supported by the American Anthropological Association (AAA). Founded in 1902, the American Anthropological Association (AAA) is the world's largest organization of individuals interested in anthropology. It publishes more than 20 journals in the discipline and hosts an annual conference to facilitate the dissemination of anthropological knowledge and its use to solve human problems.
