USC Center for Economic & Social Research and Schaeffer Center Research Paper Series

The Center for Economic and Social Research (CESR) conducts basic and applied research in behavioral and social sciences, with a particular focus on economics and decision-making. The center's name signifies the breadth of the research, which encompasses numerous fields, disciplines, topics and methodologies. It is a center within the University of Southern California Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. The Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics conducts rigorous research, develops health policy leaders, and broadly communicates solutions to promote health, well-being, and value in healthcare delivery. It is a unique collaboration between the University of Southern California Sol Price School of Public Policy and School of Pharmacy. The joint CESR-Schaeffer Center Working Paper series is intended to make the results of staff research widely available, in preliminary form, to encourage discussion and input from the academic, research and policy communities before publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
