PhD Scholarship Positions in Finance

The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management Foundation doctoral programme is offering Doctoral Scholarship Positions including a tuition waiver and a monthly stipend for living expenses for students interested in finance.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME: The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management invites ambitious candidates to apply for its doctoral programme with a concentration in Finance. We conduct scientific research projects aiming at publishing them in top journals in the fields of asset pricing, corporate finance, and financial intermediation. Frequently, these projects are pursued jointly with representatives of our stakeholders from the industry, the public, and governments and actively involve doctoral students. The doctoral programme is structured to provide in-depth training in research methods, foundations of economic theory and econometrics. The school offers an excellent research environment in terms of guidance and collaboration with experienced faculty members as well as generous resources for independent research, conference and seminar visits. Knowledge of the German language is not a prerequisite.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The Finance faculty invites outstanding graduates holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent, with a very good academic record who aspire to launch a career in academia. Students are expected to fully devote their work time to their doctoral studies for at least four years.

All scholarships will be granted on the basis of academic criteria only.
