Nominations and applications are invited for a tenure track open rank professor of finance at the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. Appointment at the rank of associate or full professor is likely, but senior assistant professors with the requisite experience may be considered. The position includes responsibility for teaching in both the MBA and Financial Engineering programs. Classes will be in asset management, financial derivatives, and/or risk management. Students include regular Financial Engineering students taking core classes as well as MBA students taking electives.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate will be an integral part of the curriculum of the Financial Engineering program, teaching an important portion of the core classes. The MS in Financial Engineering is a Top 25 joint program between the Drucker School and CGU's Institute of Mathematical Sciences. It provides students with a unique skill-set aimed at a successful career in the complex world of quantitative finance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have completed a doctoral degree and must have at least four years of postdoctoral teaching experience at the graduate/executive level. In addition, candidates must have a strong record of scholarship; interest in diverse approaches, students, and populations; and a demonstrated ability to make their intellectual contributions accessible to experienced managers through teaching and published work.
