Assistant Professor in Finance

The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Finance, starting August 2018.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a Ph.D. or DBA in Finance or related field from an AACSB accredited university. Experienced assistants as well as ABDs with anticipated completion by the time of appointment will be considered. The candidate will be expected to conduct innovative, impactful research. Owen offers a competitive teaching load.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL: The Owen Graduate School of Management is engaged in graduate and undergraduate management education. It has an enrollment of over 550 full-time students in its full-time MBA, Health Care MBA, Executive MBA (EMBA), Americas MBA for executives (AMBA), Master of Science in Finance (MSF), Masters of Accountancy (MAcc), MAcc Valuation, Master of Marketing (MMark), and Masters of Management in Health Care (MMHC) programs. In addition, Owen faculty members teach Vanderbilt University's undergraduate business minor courses. The school's full-time faculty members are actively engaged in research. Owen enrolls students from all parts of the U.S. and 35 countries. Vanderbilt University is an internationally recognized research university with a 333-acre campus located 1.5 miles from downtown Nashville. Home to more than 1.5 million people, the Nashville metropolitan area has over a dozen colleges and universities and features many cultural and recreational amenities including a symphony orchestra, proessional sports, an extensive park system, and live music offerings across a broad variety of genres.
