Senior Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor of Finance

The Department of Finance in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater campus, invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track faculty member. Candidates at the senior assistant, associate, and full professor levels will be considered. The position begins in August 2018 for the 2018-2019 academic year.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: We are seeking an individual with teaching and research interests in the broadly defined area of risk management with possible complimentary interests in financial engineering, investments, and financial markets and institutions. The individual should have demonstrated ability to add value to the department's research mission and educational programs including the Master of Science in Quantitative Financial Economics. The individual is expected to contribute to the body of knowledge in risk management and finance. Outstanding candidates may be considered for the Watson Family Chair in Commodity and Financial Risk Management.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL: The Spears School of Business is AACSB accredited (undergraduate, MBA, and Accounting programs). Graduate programs include a Master of Science in Quantitative Financial Economics, MBA, Ph.D. in Business Administration, Ph.D. program in Economics, Executive Ph.D. program, and Masters degrees in Accounting, Economics, MIS, TCOMM, and Business Analytics. The Department of Finance has fourteen faculty, with representation at two campuses, Stillwater and Tulsa. Facilities include the Watson Trading Floor, which provides a flexible venue for teaching, research, and outreach activities. The Spears School of Business will move into a new landmark building beginning in the Spring 2018.

Teaching responsibilities are primarily at the faculty member's home campus, but may be at either campus. The distribution of enrollment within the Spears School of Business is 4,643 undergraduate, 824 graduate students, and 729 students who take courses at the Tulsa campus. Total university enrollment is approximately 26,039.
