Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Accountancy

The School of Accountancy invites applications for two tenure-track positions, one at the Assistant rank and one at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank beginning August 2018.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is committed to establishing a research presence commensurate with that of our Big Ten Conference affiliates and the Committee on Institutional Cooperation, the academic affiliation of the conference. Candidates are required to hold a Ph.D. in accounting, or related discipline from an AACSB accredited College of Business and will be expected to publish research in the top accounting and finance journals. Candidates for the Associate or Full rank should have an established research record commensurate with the rank for which they are applying, while applicants for the Assistant position should have a robust research agenda underway. The School of Accountancy will consider all areas of teaching and research interest. We are particularly interested in individuals who are strong organizational citizens and interested in being active members of a rich academic community. Salary, benefits, and research support are very competitive and consistent with other Big Ten Universities.

ABOUT THE COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION: The faculty, students, and staff who comprise the College of Business bring a high level of dedication to providing exceptional education and real-world experiences for our students. In recent years, the research, teaching, and engagement missions of the College have been significantly refocused to align with the affiliation of the Big Ten. We have enjoyed unprecedented growth in students, programs, faculty, and research. As the College continues to build on and further develop its research strength, we have hired more than fifty new faculty members over the last three years.
