Assistant Professor

The School of Accountancy in the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business at Auburn University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position, contingent upon final budget approval, to begin Fall 2018.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess a doctorate in accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution prior to the date of employment. Preference will be given to candidates with interests in the areas of auditing and/or financial accounting. Candidates must demonstrate strong research credentials commensurate with experience, as the successful candidate will be expected to publish in top-tier scholarly journals. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of or potential for teaching excellence. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of the appointment and continue working legally for the term of employment. Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills are required. Candidates with professional certification are desired.
